A1 Tablecloth

UX/UI Design

Problem –

A1 Tablecloth wanted to revamp their look and function website, and their animated banner advertisments.

Goals –

• Design a website that allows users to navigate 500+ fabrics with ease.

Client –

Founded in 1989, A1 was the first company to both Rent and Sell linens nationwide.

Role–

UX Designer, UI Designer

    UX + UI –

I began by making a site map including all of the pages that A1 needed on their new site.
    (Seen below︎)

After getting confirmation on the site map, I moved to working on low-fidelity wireframes for the pages and pop ups.
A handful of these wireframes for these can be seen below︎

After sharing the low-fidelity wireframes with the client, I designed higher fidelity wireframes that could be used in the user flow to make the paths clearer to the client in the next meeting ( the user flow can seen below︎)

After walking through the flow with the client, I began to flesh out the page designs.
This included designing page layouts for a mobile version of the site. ( page layouts can be seen below, comparing desktop and mobile versions︎)

Once the designs were okay’d I ran through them one last time with the programmers before programming began.

During this final run through, we ran into the issue of how exactly the filtering system would work, but through communication with the team at A1, and the programmers, we were able to overcome the challenge of designing and building a filtering system that worked perfectly for A1’s needs.

    Final –

A1 Tablecloth was pleased with the success of their new website, and are happy that customers can now easily navigate and view their entire catalog of fabrics, and place their orders much more efficiently.
